The WRHS Foundation Paver Project provides funding to enhance medical care at the WRMC Medical Complex Cherokee Village. Gifts to the Paver Project generated $4,000 used for the construction of the helipad.
Many businesses and residents in Sharp County and surrounding areas contributed to the project. Donors include the Bank of Cave City; Dr. Doug Bernard; Robert C. Jr. and Judy E. Brown; Centennial Bank; First Community Bank; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Britnell; Johnny Carter; Richard and Michelle Huff; Sandy Jones; North Arkansas Building Specialties; North Arkansas Electric Cooperative; Norma J. Orr; Ozark Gateway Realty, LLC; Charlotte Sellers; Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce; Russell Stokes, Jr.; James M. and Marcia Street; Steve and Kim Thompson; Tri County Board of Realtors, Inc.; United Country Cotham & Co; and Donward and Velda Wiles.
“We are grateful for the support of the residents and businesses in our communities,” said Robert Wright, Administrator of Physician Services. “We want to ensure that the residents in our communities have the care they need, where they need it.”
Donors will be recognized with an engraved brick located along a 30-yard sidewalk from the helipad to the emergency room.
